A downloadable FREE 90s Windows Game for Windows

{Released: Nov. 1999}

This was the last game I finished back when I was 15, before I disappeared from game dev for a while. Probably the most challenging out of the horror games I made. Control Freddy using the arrow keys & space bar.

Also available the ANOES_SOHM NES Demake. Visit it's official page HERE:

Went to cameo and sent footage of my free horror games I made about these legends to them! This is what they had to say!

RAR:
*DEVELOPER NOTES:  The original 1999 pc fan game. Unzip & Install. This is the old windows version. It runs faster on modern computers. Currently editing a version so you don’t have to install and can play from an .exe instead.

NES:
The demake of the game that you can play on your favorite NES emulator. Best played with Mesen. When using an NES/SNES Classic. Change core to FCEUmm, then when playing press start + select, options, and change color palette to "sony-cxa2025as-us" for best results.

I posted a gameplay of A Nightmare On Elm Street, hours ago, on YouTube, and I came here on ItchIo looking for this title, and I found your game. I will download and play. Thanks!

Another banger. Holy hell man. Great game. So much attention to detail. I ultimately lost and won at the same time. Cheers.

Hello, I'm a huge fan,

It took me a long time to find these gems from my past! I appreciate the work you did and continue to do!

You have inspired me long before I even knew I wanted to be a game developer. Heck, I even started my game design journey making a Nightmare on Elm Street that I scrapped after admitting defeat.

I have a new Elm Street project I have been developing for about a year now, that I would love to have your feedback on when I launch it on here!

Great to meet you and to express my gratitude,

Hi there!

I’m glad you found me and my old games!

I appreciate you saying that I inspired you. I was just a young kid with a lot of imagination and free time on my hands!

Look at you go! This looks AWESOME! Can’t wait to try it out when you get it completed. I’m going to watch some of your videos on it now.

Nice meeting you too and thank you for the kind words,
Steve
